About Our Academic Advisor

Dr. V. Ganesan, the Academic Advisor of Satchidananda Jothi Nikethan International School, Kallar, holds a Ph.D., degree in the field of Education specialized on Teacher Leadership. With over four decades of serving in boarding schools in various capacities as a Teacher-Educator, House-Master, Principal, Senior Principal serves the school in guiding the students and teaching community.

Recipient of various coveted awards such as ‘The Best Teacher Award’ from the Government of Tamil Nadu, ‘The BOLT Award’ from Air India, Bombay, ‘The Best Principal Award’ from Bannari Amman Group, Sathyamangalam, Erode, ‘Guru Dakshina Award’ from KSR Group of Institutions, Coimbatore. ‘The Vocational Excellence Award’ from the Rotary Club of Mettupalayam, ‘The Life Time Achievement Award’ from Nehru Group of Institutions, Coimbatore, he epitomizes quality in all fields.

Academic Advisor’s Message

A good school is an amalgamation of Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual ingredients in the right proportion. A boarding school such as Satchidananda aims fulfilling the above criteria with caution and care. As the health of the school rests on the quality of academic atmosphere prevailing, it is paramount knowledge and skills are given priorities. School such as Satchidananda must bring out the best in every child admitted, to make him/her a global citizen.

Stake holders of education – parents, teachers, management and the children – must realize the ultimate education lies in character building and hence bringing a kind of orderliness from the childhood in children, is the need of the hour. As the character alone decides the quality of a person, it is significant that activities which build character of children are given importance in the campus of Satchidananda.

As Swami Vivekananda quite rightly said, ’Education is the manifestation of perfection already in man’, the faculty strive hard to unearth those vital qualities of man making in children and when they leave the portals of this temple of learning,

they remain confident, well trained and capable of leading the world with the fair degree of competence and courage.
